This is my favorite boba shop! I moved to Tennessee shortly after they opened. Whenever I'm in town, I make it a point to come and load up on their buns and tea! My favorite buns are their guava/cream cheese and the pork floss/seaweed. The hospitality is amazing, too. Cannot recommend enough!

This place is fantastic! The food is incredible, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for breaks, family time, or even work. My family and I come here to unwind, chat, and catch up. My daughter is particularly fond of their boba, and my sister adores their baked goods! Amazing place! Keep it up♥️

Let’s talk about their amazing handmade pastries, which are really tasty. My favorite is the matcha red bean mochi, but I ended up trying around six other kinds too! The inside of the store is beautifully designed, with lovely decorations that caught my eye. You definitely need to check this place out!

We were in town and stopped at this little gem. It's tucked in a corner of a Plaza but it deserves a spotlight. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to answering any questions we had. The bakery items were individually wrapped which help if you don't finish (which we all did lol) and want to take the rest with you. We ordered several drinks and food items off the menu, as well as grabbing several pastries to try. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had the Singapore and asked for it to be spicy, there was zero spice to it sadly, but still tasted amazing. We loved that the dishes could accommodate our diet needs like vegetarian and pescatarian. The drinks and baked good were so good! The kids went back for seconds! Everything was priced very reasonable. The place could use a face lift as far as the seating and decor. It has so much potential. We took our laptops hoping we could get some work done, but there was not any wifi and the ac was turned up making it pretty warm inside. We didn't stay as long as we wanted because of these things. Overall, we loved the menu and we will definitely go back when we are in town.

Great little local shop. They make fantastic bubble tea with some really fun flavors. The bubbles were nice and soft. I was so excited to see that they appraiser serve food here. I got a shrimp banh mi and it was really good- the perfect to go/ car meal. I noticed that they have Vietnamese and Chinese pastries a week and asked us they had them shipped in. The man said that no, his wife made them!! I'm so impressed with this little store. It has a little something for everyone, even fusion food for American taste buds.

My daughter and I stumbled across this jewel today. Food was fresh and flavorful, specifically, Japanese croquet, the chicken sandwich and shrimp sandwich. My daughter loved the strawberry milk tea. Restaurant was clean and inviting. The cashier was friendly, professional and welcoming. The guava cream cheese pastries were SO delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We will be back!

this is the best Asian bakery and Boba shop in this area. They also have Asian food. My favorite item is the Oreo cream cheese bun, Viet Iced Coffee and Hongkong black pepper rice bow. Very amazing food for such a moderate price. I totally recommend anyone to try. They are tucked in a corner so it's not as visible. But best spot to hang out in this area.

Oct 2023 update: Almost 2 years of coming here and it's still my #1 boba spot! My new favorite has been pineapple green tea with crystal boba and an order of croquettes! The staff always make me and my daughter feel so welcome! They are warm and friendly and we love the overall atmosphere. We see a lot of other regulars since we come so often and you can tell customers are treated well and love what they order. My friends know I have loved boba for almost 15 years now, so they often ask me a good place to go. I have three regular favorite boba spots and always recommended this one first! -- Absolutely love Zimo - I come here just about every week! I love boba and they also have food and pastries here. The staff is also really friendly. My top recommendation: A lychee green tea with a custard buns to snack on!

I've been here multiple times and I've never had anything I didn't love. All of the bakery, hot dishes and drinks are delicious. I suggest the spicy Taiwanese popcorn (perfect amount of spiciness) chicken and coffee Nutella bun (not too sweet). I love coming here and trying something new every time.

Zimo is such a cute place. The ambiance is relaxing. The service is always on point and the food/drinks delicious!!! I love their bakery and their Taiwanese popcorn chicken is superb and their fried rice so tasty. They have a wide variety of menu options for food and drinks! We love Zimo!! 😋😋😋

Super good buns and Thai tea [when extra half and half or condensed milk is added], thank you! I really loved the custard bun, strawberry stick, taro mochi bun, and the garlic butter stick with cheese. The pork floss and green onion bun was yummy but a bit too much pork floss for my taste, it was perfect after I removed some. All of my friends were happy to add that extra meat to their pork floss buns so I'm just the weird one lol I also really enjoyed the Oreo cream cheese bun other than the very middle tastes lie cheesecake which I'm not a fan of, my friends who like cheesecake gladly devoured the middle of mine while I ate the outer ring. The cream cheese 3-section bun was pretty good, it almost tasted like cheesecake but not quite. All of the food tasted and felt so fresh, it was wonderful! Edit: The fried chicken sandwich and fries are very good, too! Also the winter melon tea with oolong as the base plus cheese foam is amaaazzzing!

I have been dying to come here for so long, and I’m really glad I finally did today! The barista was so kind and helpful, and was able to help me customize my Vietnamese iced coffee to my liking. My husband doesn’t drink caffeine, so she made some helpful recommendations on what would be best for him, and he got a brown sugar milk tea with boba and it was absolutely delicious! The vibes in here are immaculate, super welcoming and bright with cute music. I can’t wait to come back and try their food/pastries because everything looks delicious.

I can't believe I haven’t written a review on Google about this place yet. Zimó is amazing! It's a family and Asian owned business that is near MD Oriental Market and next door to First Choice BBQ. It's the shopping center on Falkenburg and Adamo. You've been living under a rock if you haven't been there yet. Especially if you love Asian food. It's seriously a best kept secret as well as a hidden gem. They make the best mango pomelo sago and cheese rose milk tea. They also have a great variety of baked goods and food items. They also have a great chicken sandwich and lunch deal that comes with a drink. That crispy fried chicken is so crispy, juicy, and tasty. They even make their own buns. They always seem to have something new everytime I go there. I honestly can't drive by without stopping. I have so many favorites. I've already mentioned the chicken sandwich, but they also have a shrimp sandwich that has fried jumbo shrimp. The basil popcorn chicken is also a fave. I love that you get plenty of fried whole basil leaves. The spice reminds me of the Chinese/Taiwanese 5 spice. I'm pretty sure that's the spice. It's absolutely crispy snd delicious and very difficult to pass up. The Sichuan fries are equally as addicting. The chili oil gives it a kick of heat. Very delicious! The Super Fruit Tea is also amazing and made with your choice of oolong or jasmine tea. The desserts and bakery items.. well I have many favorites. The rose cheese bun, crepe cake, ube loaf, matcha mochi red bean bun, and coffee bun that is filled with chocolate. They have an awesome cheese cake as well. Every quality ingredient has a natural flavor. Whether it's rose, matcha, or whatever the flavor. They bake everything fresh daily. They've added more food items which I can't wait to try. It's becoming a very popular place. Just read about them in all the Tampa blogs. The staff is always professional, and the owner is so sweet. She remembers me every time I see her. They continue expanding their menu which is always exciting. They have unique and tasty items. I wish I could say more. Definitely 10 stars for quality and taste. Oh, and they open at 10:00am. I stopped here about 2.5 years ago after my baby had surgery. We live about an hour away, and since then I haven’t stopped thinking about their basil popcorn chicken. Finally had the chance to go back today. I purchased two popcorn chickens, basil Thai fried rice with chicken and two hot dogs. I haven’t tried the beef hot dogs yet, but the popcorn chicken was delicious still. My chai tea was delicious too. Clearly I had to stock up. I only had a bite of the rice since I was full, and I loved the flavor in that too. The restaurant close to my house that used to have it closed, so it had been 4 years since I had basil thai fried rice too. The service is super friendly here. Through their rush, they didn’t hear me say I wanted the fried rice, so they had to ring me up again after I had been waiting for it. They apologized multiple times! It was fine though, they had been busy and they were so good about getting the orders out. I wish this place was closer! Everything about it is perfect.

The cafe/bakery is super cute - I'm obsessed. Its always kept tidy and clean. They also have a pretty nice variety of pastries and all the ones I've tried so far have been delicious! The drinks are also really good, I almost always get a dirty brown sugar boba when I visit - my next favorites would be the mango tornado and taro milk tea!!

Go here! Full or hungry and you will still leave with food. I had the basil popcorn chicken and my partner had the fried chicken sandwich. Both of them were amazing. The baked goods are very good and different than ordinary baked goods. There are so many flavors and combinations of pastries you will want to try them all. Some are standard as strawberries and cream and some are very unique. There are some that have hotdogs and cheese in them! I had one with red bean paste and it was delicious. If they have cheesecake while you're there try it! The pistachio one was delicious. Highly recommend going here.

Chill vibes, yummy sweets, and savory meal options! I'm diabetic and have a love-hate relationship with bakeries lol. This was by far the fluffiest, yummiest, most worthwhile treat I gave myself. So much so that I brought my husband again today. 2x in one week! I definitely recommend this cafe for quick bites or to sit down and enjoy all their options. Staff is super friendly!

I love this place. Relaxing and chill environment any day of the week. I love to go in on a weekend morning and grab a nice pastry and fruit tea. Make sure you get in early in the weekend, if you wait until noon you’ll miss out on some of the favorites! The prices are reasonable. The staff is very helpful and always pleasant. If you aren’t familiar with Vietnamese pastries/desserts, don’t worry they are always spot on with recommendations. I went in one day on a whim and have definitely become a repeat customer!

Lovely chill cafe/bakery with delicious chicken sandwiches and boba teas. Taro is delicious and the fruit teas are really pleasant. Super relaxing music and decor, very nice place to go with some friends and enjoy a relaxing meal. Bakery items are fluffy and tasty and they have a great vareity. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
